Introduction
Loopfold Studio publishes mobile games. This Privacy Policy explains, at the level of the studio, how we approach information about the people who play them.
This policy covers our website and our general practices, and sets out rights that apply to you across everything we publish.
Who We Are
Loopfold Studio is an independent studio that develops and publishes mobile games, puzzle games and other digital entertainment products. We are the developer and publisher of the games listed below, and the party responsible for this website.
For any privacy question, write to loopfoldstudio@gmail.com.
Games Covered by This Policy
This policy sets the baseline for everything we publish. For the specifics of any individual game, read that game’s policy:
- ArrowGo — privacy policy · terms
When we publish a new game, it gets its own policy on the same pattern, and it appears in the Legal Centre alongside the others.
Where a game’s own policy differs from this one, that game’s policy governs for that game.
Our Approach to Data
We build games that ask for as little as possible. That is a design decision, not a marketing line, and it shapes what we are able to promise:
- We do not collect what we do not need. If a feature works without personal data, we build it that way.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We tell you when something changes. If a game starts sending data that it did not before, its policy is updated in the same release, not afterwards.
- We name our processors. Where a game uses a third-party service, that game’s policy names it and links to its privacy policy.
Information We May Collect
Across our activities as a studio, the information that can reach us falls into a small number of categories. Not every category applies to every game — most apply to none of them.
| Category | When it applies | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Correspondence | When you email us | To read your message and reply to it |
| Game data stored on your device | In games that save progress locally | So the game can remember your progress and settings. It stays on your device. |
| Diagnostic and usage data | Only in a game whose own policy says it collects it | To find crashes and understand which parts of a game work |
| Purchase records | Only in a game that sells something | To deliver what you bought. Payment details are handled by the app store, never by us. |
| Account data | Only in a game that has accounts | To let you sign in and to sync your progress |
How We Use Information
Where we do hold information, we use it only to run and improve what we make:
- to provide our games and keep them working
- to answer your questions and handle your requests
- to diagnose crashes and fix problems, where a game reports them
- to meet legal and tax obligations
We do not use personal information to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects for you.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. Information is disclosed only in these situations:
- Service providers that process data on our behalf, under contract and only for the purposes we specify. Each game’s policy names the ones it uses.
- App stores, which handle distribution, payments and store accounts under their own policies.
- Legal requirements, where we must respond to a valid legal request, and only to the extent required.
- A change of ownership, if a game or the studio were transferred, in which case we would update this policy before anything changed.
This Website
This website is built to be read, not to watch you. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies, runs no third-party analytics, and does not require you to sign in.
As with any website, our hosting provider processes standard server request data such as IP addresses in order to deliver pages and to keep the service secure and available.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where a game is suitable for younger players, its own policy says so and sets out what applies.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at loopfoldstudio@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Data Retention
We keep information only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires.
- Correspondence is kept for as long as we need it to handle your request and to keep a record of it.
- Data stored on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the game.
- Where a game holds data on a server, that game’s policy states the retention period.
Data Deletion
You can ask us to delete personal information we hold about you at any time. How that works in practice depends on the game:
- ArrowGo — see the account and data deletion page.
To delete correspondence, or anything else we hold, email loopfoldstudio@gmail.com. We may need to keep limited records where the law requires it, and we will tell you if that applies.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information: encrypted connections, restricted access, and a deliberate policy of collecting as little as possible so that there is little to protect.
No system is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
International Data Transfers
We make our games available worldwide. Where information does reach us or a service provider, it may be processed in a country other than the one you live in, including countries whose data-protection laws differ from your own.
Where a transfer of personal data out of the EEA or the UK occurs, we rely on the safeguards available under applicable law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses used by the relevant provider.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable form, and to complain to your data-protection regulator.
To exercise a right, email loopfoldstudio@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. Exercising a right is free and will never lead to worse treatment.
United States
State privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, give residents of certain states rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those laws define those terms.
EEA, UK and Switzerland
Under the EU and UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Where we process personal data we do so on the basis of your consent, our legitimate interests in running and supporting our games, or a legal obligation — whichever applies to the processing in question.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The version and "Last updated" date at the top of the page always reflect the current text, and material changes are described rather than slipped in.
A change to a specific game’s data practices is reflected in that game’s own policy, in the release that makes the change.
