Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what Miodoku does with information, and what it does not do. Miodoku is a logic puzzle game published by Loopfold Studio.
It is written to be read, not skimmed past. Where the honest answer is "nothing", it says so plainly, and where something does leave your device it says exactly what and to whom.
Loopfold Studio also publishes a studio-wide Privacy Policy describing how we work across all of our games. This page is the one that governs Miodoku; where the two differ, this page wins for this game.
Who We Are
Miodoku is developed and published by Loopfold Studio, an independent studio that develops and publishes mobile games, puzzle games and other digital entertainment products.
For anything in this policy, or for any question about privacy in Miodoku, write to us at loopfoldstudio@gmail.com. A person reads that inbox.
The Game This Policy Covers
This policy applies to the Miodoku mobile game on Android and iOS, identified as follows.
- Game
- Miodoku (Logic Puzzle)
- Publisher
- Loopfold Studio
- Platforms
- Android and iOS
- Android application ID
- com.mindra.miodoku
- iOS bundle ID
- com.mindra.miodoku
It does not cover our other games — each has its own policy describing its own behaviour — and it does not cover the app stores themselves, which handle your download and any store account under their own privacy policies.
Information We Collect
Loopfold Studio collects no personal information through Miodoku. You are not asked for a name, an email address, a date of birth or a phone number, and the game builds no profile of you.
What the game stores on your device
Miodoku does have to remember things between sessions, and it does that in local storage on your device. This information stays there. It is not transmitted to us and we have no way to read it.
| Category | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Player Profile & Progress | current level, total puzzles solved, perfect solves, mistake counts, hints used, coins, XP, and golden fish challenge badges |
| Active Puzzle State | in-progress board state, placed cats, pencil marks, elapsed solve timer, and mistake tally for seamless instant resume |
| Daily Trilogy & Streaks | completed daily puzzles (Morning Mind, Midday Spark, Night Paws), current streak, best streak, and streak shields |
| Settings & Preferences | audio toggles (SFX, music, voice cheers), tactile haptics toggle, and tutorial completion flag |
On Android, save data resides exclusively in the application’s private local storage. On iOS, local data is stored within the app’s sandbox and may be included in device or iCloud backups depending on your iOS backup settings.
Information We Do Not Collect
It is worth being specific about the categories of information that this game does not touch at all:
- Account credentials — there are no user accounts, passwords, or registration profiles.
- Advertising identifiers — the game serves no ads and reads no advertising ID.
- Usage and behavioural analytics — no gameplay events are sent anywhere.
- Crash and diagnostic reports — crashes are not transmitted to us.
- Payment details — the game sells nothing, so no payment details exist.
- Messages or user content — there is no chat, no comments and no profile.
- Cloud-stored progress — save progress is kept on your device.
- Precise location — the game never requests GPS access; only approximate region/country derived from IP by ad/analytics networks is processed.
- Contacts, photos, microphone or camera — the game asks for none of these sensitive permissions.
- Personal identity records — we do not collect your legal name, physical address, or phone number.
Information Collected Automatically
Miodoku makes no network requests, so nothing is collected automatically as you play.
Beyond the above, Miodoku is offline-first. Puzzles are generated on your device, so no internet connection is required to play.
How We Use Information
Because we receive no information from Miodoku, there is nothing for us to use. The data the game stores on your device is used by the game, on your device, for the obvious reasons:
- to remember your progress so you can pick up where you left off
- to apply the settings you chose, such as theme, sound and haptics
- to keep your daily streak and award achievements accurately
- to show you your own statistics
None of this is profiling, none of it is used for advertising, and none of it is used to make automated decisions about you.
If you email us, we use your message and your email address for one purpose: to answer you and to keep a record of what was asked.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not trade it with data brokers. In the case of Miodoku this is easy to promise, because we hold no personal information about you to begin with.
The only circumstances in which information related to this game is shared or disclosed are:
- When you choose to share something yourself, using your device’s share menu — you decide the destination.
- When an integrated service provider (such as Google AdMob, Google Firebase, or RevenueCat) receives a request to serve ads, record diagnostics, or validate purchases, as described in this policy.
- When we are legally required to respond to a valid legal request, and only to the extent required.
- If the game or the studio were ever transferred to another owner, in which case we would inform players before anything changed.
Third-Party Services
Miodoku integrates no third-party services.
Advertising
Miodoku contains no advertising. No ad SDK is present in the build, no advertising identifier is read, and nothing about you is used to target ads anywhere.
Miodoku contains no advertising. It does not integrate any ad networks, displays no banner, interstitial, native, or rewarded ads, and does not access any advertising identifiers.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
Analytics
Miodoku contains no analytics. No gameplay event, session record or usage statistic is transmitted off your device.
Miodoku contains no telemetry or analytics SDKs. No gameplay events, level metrics, or session records leave your device.
Crash and error reporting
Miodoku contains no crash-reporting SDK. If the game crashes, no report is generated and nothing is sent to us.
Miodoku does not integrate third-party crash reporting SDKs. Unhandled errors are not transmitted off your device.
Separately from the game, your app store may give us aggregate, anonymised statistics — install counts, crash rates across all devices, ratings. These come from the store, not from the game, and they do not identify you.
Purchases and Payments
Miodoku sells nothing. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no premium currency and no billing library in the build, so no payment information exists in connection with this game.
Miodoku sells nothing. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, paid hints, or paywalled levels. The complete puzzle campaign, daily challenges, and hint features are 100% free.
Children’s Privacy
Miodoku is a family-friendly logic puzzle game suitable for players of all ages. It contains no violence, objectionable material, advertising, in-app purchases, or online communication features.
Miodoku is a general-audience game rather than one directed specifically at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 in applicable European jurisdictions). If you believe personal information has been transmitted to us (such as via customer support email), please contact us at loopfoldstudio@gmail.com and we will promptly delete it.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information — for example by emailing us — contact us at loopfoldstudio@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Data Retention
All gameplay progress, settings, and streak records are stored solely in local device storage and remain there until you clear app data or uninstall the game.
- Campaign progress, completed levels, active puzzle states, and streaks remain on your device indefinitely unless reset or uninstalled.
- Settings such as audio toggles (SFX, music, voice) and haptics preferences are preserved in local storage.
- If you contact customer support via email, your correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to answer your inquiry and satisfy applicable legal obligations.
Data Deletion
You are in full control of Miodoku’s data, because all of it is on your device:
- In-Game Reset: Clear active puzzle data and preferences from within the app settings.
- Device Settings: Clear app storage and cache for Miodoku in your device’s Application Settings (Android: Settings → Apps → Miodoku → Storage → Clear Data; iOS: delete and reinstall the app).
- Uninstallation: Uninstalling Miodoku immediately and permanently deletes all locally saved puzzles, statistics, and streaks from your device.
Because Miodoku maintains no user accounts or central databases, uninstalling the app permanently purges all save data.
To request deletion of any support email correspondence, contact us at loopfoldstudio@gmail.com.
Full details, including what applies if you have emailed us, are on the Miodoku account and data deletion page.
Data Security
We take the view that the most reliable way to protect information is not to gather it in the first place, and that principle shapes how this game is built.
- Miodoku stores its data in the app’s own private storage area, which the operating system isolates from other apps.
- The protection of that data therefore rests on your device’s own security — your screen lock, your OS updates, your device encryption.
- There is no server holding your data, so there is no database of players that could be breached.
- Requests the game does make use encrypted HTTPS connections, and the app is configured to refuse unencrypted traffic.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise. What we can say is that the surface area here is deliberately small.
International Data Transfers
Your Miodoku data does not travel internationally, because it does not leave your device.
If you email us, your message reaches us wherever we are, which may be outside the country you live in.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, data protection law may give you rights over personal information processed in connection with the game. Those typically include the right to know what is held, to get a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to certain uses, and to complain to a regulator.
We want to be straightforward about how those rights apply here: because Miodoku sends us no personal information, we hold nothing to disclose, correct or delete. A request would truthfully be answered "we hold no data about you". The one exception is correspondence — if you have emailed us, we hold that email, and you can ask us to delete it.
To exercise any right, write to loopfoldstudio@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. We will not charge you for a request or treat you differently for making one.
If you are in the United States
State privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, give residents of certain states rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising them.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in those laws. We collect no personal information through Miodoku, and therefore none of the categories those laws define are collected, sold or shared through it.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland
The UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation give you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
Where we do process personal data — in practice, only correspondence you send us — we rely on our legitimate interest in answering you, and on your consent where you have given it. Since Miodoku transmits no personal data to us, there is no further processing to describe.
Additional Disclosures
Deterministic Daily Puzzle Generation
Miodoku generates daily puzzles deterministically on your device based on UTC calendar dates and a seed engine. No remote server is queried to deliver puzzles, ensuring seamless offline availability.
On-Device Constraint Solver & Hints
All puzzle generation, uniqueness verification, and multi-tier hints (Nudge, Explain, Reveal) are computed directly on your device by an embedded constraint solver without sending board state over the network.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We will update this policy when Miodoku changes what it does. That is a commitment with teeth: if a future version adds analytics, advertising, accounts, cloud saves or purchases, this page is updated in the same release, and the "Last updated" date and version at the top will change with it.
For significant changes — anything that means data starts leaving your device that did not before — we will say so clearly rather than quietly editing the text. Previous versions remain available on request.
Continuing to play after an update means the revised policy applies to you.
